  • Where do you do tree removal?

At Trees Plus LTD, we service the North Atlanta area, including Sandy Springs, Buford, Marietta, Sugar Hill, and Suwanee. Our wide service area makes us one of the best tree service companies in the area. Our staff has the experience and training to perform services in the safest, least invasive manner.

  • Do you take care of storm damage?

Yes, we offer storm damage cleanup services. Severe weather conditions, such as extreme wind, snow, ice, tornados, hurricanes, and more can cause tremendous damage to your trees, shrubs, and property without a moment’s notice.

You can begin to recover from this damage by calling our local tree services company today.

  • What is a full-site survey?

During a full-site survey, our tree arborists will help you understand which trees and plants are valuable to your real estate, specify what can be done to ensure the health of those trees and plants, and address safety and maintenance issues.

According to the USDA Forest Service, trees that are healthy and mature can add 10% to your property's value. Our survey will catch any issues that could result in unhealthy trees.

  • Do you offer stump grinding?

Yes, we offer stump grinding. We recommend all stumps be ground across the full breadth of their span, four to six inches below ground level. Our local tree services use state-of-the-art grinding equipment and leave your property tidy.

  • Do you offer pruning?

Yes, we offer tree pruning. This will enable your trees and plants to remain strong and healthy and improve their overall appearance. Many diseases are a result of overcrowding, which pruning corrects.

Improper pruning often provides a point of entry for disease and pests, resulting in damage or death of trees and plants. Following pruning, shaping is performed to maximize the beauty and aesthetic appearance of your trees. Proper shaping involves raising the canopy, balancing the crown, and removing dead wood.

  • What is the difference between underbrush removal and land clearing?

There are two types of underbrush removal. One type is when a residential lot is overgrown; it could be invasive weeds, kudzu, English ivy, trumpet vine, or vinca. The time of year to eradicate these invasive species is September and October, using spray penetrants and weed killers.

The other type of underbrush removal is called mulchhead mowing. When a large tract of heavily wooded land from five to 1,500 acres is purchased, the mulching mower would cut paths from six to 12 feet wide to enable the landowner to navigate the property, in our professional experience. It is important to locate and mark native plants and trees before using a mulchhead on pristine property.

We specialize in working on farms, game preserves, and the like. Our tree removal contractors do not handle land clearing.

  • What do you do to protect our manicured lawn?

State-of-the-art equipment, such as Arbormats, is used to protect your turf. The impact of the equipment on the lawn is no more than a full-grown man standing on it. As one of the top tree removal companies in the area, we will work hard to ensure your lawn is protected.

  • Do you carry insurance?

Trees Plus LTD is fully insured and licensed by the State of Georgia. Full liability and workers' compensation coverage certificates with customer name and address are supplied before each job begins. Our tree removal company will ensure you're protected.

  • Do you plant trees?

Choosing the right tree for the right location is crucial. We have access to farms throughout the Southeast for competitive pricing. Our tree arborists only plant specimen trees in the late fall and winter to encourage trees to acclimate to their new location.

  • What if I need a permit from my city?

Obtaining tree removal permits can be technical and time-consuming. Let our experienced and certified tree arborists take care of all the paperwork to streamline your service. Cities that need permits include Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Milton, Dunwoody, Brookhaven, Atlanta, and Peachtree Corners.
